Question about drop assigning - Guild Wars Forums

so, i've been farming for a green shield for my warrior, and i had a question. i go in by myself (no henchies), but the boss is really close to the ressurection shrine, so i HAVE been using the kurzick priests/guards to help me.

i was wondering, would this affect the drop rate of the green item? like would these shrine guards take away drops like regular henchman would?

Only party members affect what drops for who. the priests and such dont count.

I believe that if an NPC does more than 50% of the damage you get nothing, or somethin like that.

if you do enough damage to the boss to get an xp award, then you should get any drops from that boss as well

hmm, okay guys. right now im having trouble trying to get the boss to spawn holding the shield, so i havent really had a good try yet. i'll keep tryin

From what I've seen over the course of the game, if an NPC makes the killing
blow, you get no credit for the kill or drops.
